An obvious application for BLDC and Switched
Reluctance motors is electric vehicles, and that includes vehicles of
all types; personal transport, carts, wheelchairs, bicycles, ATV's, lawn
and garden implements, industrial fork lifts, trucks, all electric
models and hybrid electric vehicles.
And although traction motors may top the list, it
is not the only application of motors in electric vehicles. Motors are used to actuate
wipers, windows, doors, tops, liquid pumps, fans, valves, seats,
winches, lifts, compressors and just about anything imaginable on a
wheel or track based vehicle. CMI
